Over ten (10) years of experience in the Petrochemical Industry as a Chemical Operator, Safety/Health Inspector, and Industrial Instrumentation Technician. My skills and knowledge include the operation, inspection and repair of process equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, heater and process control instrumentation. Industrial Instrumentation Technician First Class                                                       1995 - 2001

Work independently to perform technical assignments of installation, modification, repair, and inspection of electrical, electronic and pneumatic equipment and instrumentation used in the operation and control of process unit systems in direct support of operation. Comply with OSHA Regulations, and safety policies and procedures. Perform daily maintenance at DCS equipment, Boiler control system, TLC 3000 Honeywell, CCC (compressor control system), PLC Heater fire control system.

 

Industrial Safety/Health Inspector                                                                   1994 – 1995

Fill out Hot work and Entry forms and check area gas with portable detectors, enforce OSHA Regulations and Procedures. Inspect columns, vessels, pipelines, for hot tapping, also conduct pressure test to various process equipment. Maintain record of project progress as conducted by stage. Maintain and inspect all equipment related to safety and PPE.

 

Industrial Chemical Process Operator                                                             1989 – 1994

Maintain process unit running without any setbacks, inspect and report any equipment failure thru SAP. Also monitor area for any type of gas leak, take pressure readings, collect sample to be tested, maintain good housekeeping.  Also, operate a variety of process equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, dehydrators, heater and process control valves.  Occupied First Class Operator slot despite Second Class Operator classification.
